What is Hidradenitis Suppurativa?

Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by recurrent episodes of painful, deep-seated nodules, abscesses, or sinus tracts. For a diagnosis of HS, these symptoms must appear in areas such as the axilla, under the breasts, or in the ano-genital region at least twice within a six-month period
